After establishing the first two U.S. Training Universities aimed at employee development for an international Japanese corporation, Ms. Schultz implemented nationwide programs to develop a focused, knowledgeable, and motivated workforce in Shiseido, USA. Drawing from years of senior level experience in HR Management and Employee Development in the corporate environment, Penny currently provides HR services to support a wide variety of small businesses in California. Penny's style is hands-on, interactive, and systems/legal compliance oriented. Ms. Schultz has served on the boards of the American Society of Human Resources (ASTD) and Bay Area Consultant Network (BACN), is a member of Society of Human Resource Management (SHRM), Northern California Human Resources Association (NCHRA), and California Chamber of Commerce. She has a degree in Human Resource Management.
Prior to joining Schultz Consulting, Mary Valente spent over ten years as HR Director with State Farm Insurance, a Fortune 500 company. During her career she has handled complex employee relations issues including sexual harassment investigations, performance problems, open door grievances, EEOC complaints, employee assistance situations, benefits administration and more. Mary is experienced in recruiting, new employee orientations, training and counseling to all employee levels. Prior to joining Schultz Consulting, she provided HR professional support services for small businesses in Central and Northern California. Ms. Valente has a degree in Human Resources and Organization Design
